Raul Diaz

Pastor Diaz founded Path of Life as a church that expanded its ministry into a faith-based non-profit organization to better serve their community. Before this, Pastor Diaz started in the compassion ministry field during 1985 in Amsterdam. While there, he developed, implemented and directed service programs to address significant barriers of dysfunction. After seven years in the Netherlands and much short-term missionary church planting work in Africa, he returned to the States to continue his compassion work for four years in Los Angeles for Inner City Ministries. Pastor Diaz was then led to Riverside and planted Path of Life Church in 1997, where he is the Senior Pastor. In 2000, he saw a need to help rebuild the lives of men in Riverside and began a Christian-based congregete-living environment to aid this process.  He was later asked by the City of Riverside to operate the Emergency Cold Weather Shelter in Fairmount Park. This opened the door to POLM’s continued growth in helping the Riverside community, where Pastor Diaz is POLM’s Executive Director.
